So as my first post on my blog, I thought I’d just introduce myself a little. Some of my posts may be a little chonologically scattered, because I also want to review some of the other cities I visited this past summer such as Paris, Milan, and Florence. My name is Liz Clark, and I’m currently a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY. This city of creativity also holds my heart and I’ll show you some of my favorite spots for taking pictures. Another thing I love: PIZZA. I have a goal to eat at least one slice of pizza from every shop in Manhattan before I graduate, and as I do, I’ll let you know which I love and which I don’t totally love. The main part of this blog is that I’ll be adding locations for everywhere I take pics, so if you’re a fan of the background, street art, or scenery, you can recreate it! Urban Hallucination is all about my perspective of this city and others I visit, so that you can experience these places vicariously through my camera lens.
My ultimate goal is to create a better understanding and respect between cultures. With that I hope someone across the world sees this blog one day and knows that New Yorkers are actually kind people, we just live fast paced lives and have no time for slow walkers on the sidewalk (except when there’s great sidewalk art.)
Some of my pictures may be edited, but never to distort the image, only to make the subject more clear. If any picture wasn’t taken by me, i.e. my roommate, Larissa, or other friends, they’ll be credited below.
